In these last few decades, essential value changes, together with other changes have been brought about in the 21st century. Education has not been exempted from this reality. People live longer and they value their individuality and self-assessment very much. This study examines the present values and the lifestyles of 10 -year - old children in relation to socialization agents such as: family, friends, school and information and communication technologies. An anonymous survey was applied to students from two different schools and it was answered as a course group. The analyzed information data was contrasted with the the proposed hypothesis and it was thoroughly known what their present values and lifestyle are. The effective contribution that this work looks for is to promote the application of a representative sample of the Chilean childhood and adolescence. As a conclusion we imply the importance of this work as a guide to propose a more human education, considering in its development the different socialization agents. – (International Journal of Developmental and Educational Psychology = INFAD Revista de Psicologia ; ano 25, № 1-vol. 1) .
