The research collects information from students of jesus maria, brena and chorrillos (pero) on the perception of adolescents societal parental style. We analyzed and explored its effects on the construction of identity. The variables were evaluated by scale parental socialization styles in adolescence (espa29) musitu and garcia (2004) and the scales of identity exploration and commitment adolescent, zacares and others (2006, 2009). The universe consists of 153 high schools of jesus maria, brena and chorrillos, lima metropolitana, peru. We used a random cluster sample of 180 adolescents. The design is cross-sectional, descriptive, correlational, performed with quantitative methodological.
