Among the dimensions of self-regulated learning, student perceptions about their abilities to control their process plays a decisive role to tackle the task autonomously. The aim of this paper is to examine the relationship between self-regulatory efficacy and self-regulated learning processes in first-year college students. Results showed a direct and significant relationships between self-regulatory efficacy, the use of self-regulated learning strategies and deep approach to learning.
