The stress before exams it consists of a series of emotional negative reactions that some students feel before exams. The fear of the exams is not an irrational fear; not in vain, the action in them determines great part of the academic future of the person. But since the majority of the times happens with the anxiety, is when given at very high levels is, when can seriously interfere in the life of the person. Stress before exams is a serious problem, not only because of the high percentage of students who suffer from it, but also because it has a very negative effect on performance. This begs the need to analyze the extent to which there is a significant relationship between academic performance and stress testing, in order to plan psychoeducational intervention that enables a performance improvement. In any case, given that the test anxiety not only affects academic performance as we think, but also affects the health and self-esteem of people with the disease, develop a proposal for self-administered intervention for all students with test anxiety is more than enough justification to develop this study. – (International Journal of Developmental and Educational Psychology = INFAD Revista de Psicologia ; ano 25, № 1-vol. 2) .
