The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of operation of electric vehicles in an urban environment.The analysis of changes in the dynamics of passenger electric transport in the world and in Russia is carried out, the types of existing charging stations are analyzed, as well as regulatory legal acts regulating the activities of electric transport in Russia.The second chapter analyzes the existing methods for choosing the location of charging stations in the urban environment, describes the factors limiting the growth of the charging infrastructure.In the third chapter, the choice of locations for the location of charging stations in the city is justified, weight coefficients for each selected location are calculated and mathematical and cartographic modeling is carried out to identify specific locations.In the fourth chapter, the cost of implementing charging stations is determined, payback periods are calculated and a comparative analysis is carried out.
